Who we are

Set up by the City of Arts and Sciences under the protectorate of the Generalitat Valenciana (our Regional Government), the Fundación Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias - Comunitat Valenciana, aims to disseminate, foster, promote, encourage, support and develop science, technology, art and any scientific, cultural, educational, social, environmental, and artistic activity connected with the work done at the City of Arts and Sciences.

The Foundation was set up with the intention of becoming a bridge between the City of Arts and Sciences and the Valencian society and with the spirit of acting as a major channel for culture, science and technology.

The Fundación Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias - CV is a member of the Spanish Foundation Society since May 2004. The Association is based in Madrid, Spain, and includes 654 associated foundations. The Association provides its members with assistance and different services, like spreading the activities of the member foundations.
